The accident occurred near the intersection of Old Dixie Highway and Vista Della Toscana about 9 p.m., EVAC ambulance spokesman Mark O'Keefe said.

Volusia County Fire Services and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident, Fire Services spokesman Lt. Ralph Davis said.

The victim's identity was not available Wednesday night. The Highway Patrol is investigating.

From Paul's Aunt Denise:

"Paul was riding a motorcycle, with his helmet on, but was going too fast on a wet street in Daytona Beach. We believe he died immediately when the motorcycle "got away from him". The area where you can view the memorial ride shows the scene of the wreck. He was 3 weeks shy of graduating from a college down there with an AAS degree in Motorcycle Mechanics. The state police showed up at Donna's house at 2am with the news. She said she knew right away when they were at the door. Every Mother's worst nighmare come true."

WE ALL KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT PAULS DEATH, IT BOTHERS ME TO READ THE NEWS ARTICAL AND SEE HOW FAR OFF THEY WERE ON THE FACTS, THEY MENTION THAT THE VICTIMS IDENTITY WAS`NT KNOW AT THE TIME AND THE INVESTIGATION WAS CONTINUNG, I WISH THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A FOLLOW UP STORY TO LET FLORIDA KNOW THAT THIS WAS A 21 YEAR OLD CHILD THAT LOST HIS LIFE SENSELESSLY. THAT THEY SHOULD TELL OTHER YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN... THAT LIFES TO SHORT.. TO EMBRACE WHAT TIME WE HAVE HERE AND NOT TAKE  THE MIND SET THAT THEY ARE  INVINSIBLE ! AS PAUL AND LINDSAYS MOTHER I FEEL THATS WHERE OUR RELATIONSHIP / WAS AND IS/ THERE COMES A TIME IN OUR CHILDRENS LIFE WHEN WE HAVE TO LET GO,, EXCEPT THEY ARE NOW ADULTS . YET LIKE MYSELF AND ALL PARENTS, SOMEHOW WE NEVER CAN!!  I DONT WANT MY SONS DEATH TO BE IN VAIN... I WANT OTHERS HIS AGE TO RELIZE HOW IMPORTANT EACH AND EVERY CHOICE THEY MAKE IN THEIR LIVES,CAN AND WILL  MAKE  ALL THE DIFFERENCE !! MY SON MADE A FATAL CHOICE THAT NIGHT, HE CHOSE TO BELIEVE HE WAS INVINSIBLE, IT COST HIM HIS LIFE AND IN MANY WAYS MINE!  PLEASE TO ALL WHO READ THIS, THINK ABOUT YOUR ACTIONS, LISTEN TO YOUR INTERNAL VOICE, AND HEAD ITS WARNING!!  GOD GIVES US THAT GIFT..
